Rev. Sherry D. Tavel will officiate your wedding in the place of your choice. She performs weddings at churches, hotels, ships, outdoors, banquet halls, wedding chapels, her home, etc. She is an ordained Religious minister who will perform nondenominational Wedding Ceremonies in Harris and surrounding counties in Texas. From the most sophisticated of weddings to the more casual settings, Rev. Sherry will assist to create an appropriate atmosphere.
You should have no surprises at your wedding and know what is going to be said. Rev. Sherry is committed to working with you to create a ceremony that will make your wedding your special day. She performs wedding ceremonies for people of all religions, both traditional and non-traditional, including non-religious, interfaith, intercultural, and civil ceremonies. Rev. Sherry also performs ceremonies for the renewal of vows. This is the primary mission as a wedding officiant.
Rev. Sherry Tavel does not require pre-marriage counseling, however she can provide this service if requested.
To help couples plan their ceremonies, Rev. Sherry offers consultations that allows them to select ceremony text. When the atmosphere and words of a wedding ceremony personally reflect the love the bride and groom feel for each other, the ceremony becomes a powerful beginning of their new life together. A wedding ceremony that builds on the values of your past and looks to the future will speak personally to you, both at the time of your wedding and throughout your life together.
She offers spur of the moment wedding ceremonies at her office, home or place of your choice. She can help you with a photographer, invitations, flowers and more.

Background
Sherry D. Tavel is an independent nondenominational minister ordained through the "His Path" Ministries. She has counseled couples prior to marriage and also those contemplating divorce. She is a licensed practicing attorney in the State of Texas and an associate City Municipal Judge. She is a part time professor at a local college.
She graduated from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, Cum Laude with a B.S. in Jurisprudence and South Texas College of Law with a J.D. of Law.
